Q. Who can apply for an unsecured personal loan?

A. Anyone over 18 years old, homeowners, tenants, living with parents, self employed and HM Forces personnel. Previous poor credit, CCJ's, defaults, arrears etc, all welcome. Further information see our Qualify page.

Q. Who can apply for an online payday loan?

A. Customers must be over 18 years old, any residential status including lodgers with proofs of address. You must be working and have your wages/ salary paid into a bank. You will need a debit card Switch, Visa Electron/ Delta, Solo or Maestro.

Q. Who can apply for a secured personal loan?

A. Secured loans are only available to existing home owners, employed, self employed, benefits and pensions as income OK. Secured personal loans are from £5000- £100,000. Currently you can borrow up to 80% LTV if you are employed, 75% LTV if you are self employed or looking for self certification of income.

Q. How much can I borrow?

A.Because all loan applications are considered individually amounts will vary based on your circumstances, and ability to afford the repayments. For a guide to lending amounts please see our How Much page.

Q. I'm not anywhere on the Electoral/ Voters roll. Can I still get a loan?

A.Yes provided you can show where you've been living for the past three years. This can be at different addresses of course, but you'll be asked to provide copies of correspondence, bills etc showing where you have been residing.

Q. Can I apply for a loan in joint names with my partner or spouse?

A.With payday and unsecured personal loans this is not necessary. However for a secured personal loan BOTH partners have to sign.
